Worral Creek Farm is a large-scale mixed farming operation specialising in irrigated cotton and dryland cropping. Strategically located between Talwood and Mungindi in southern Queensland, approximately 100 km from Goondiwindi, the farm operates across multiple properties in the Border Rivers region. We are seeking reliable Casual Farm Workers to support our operations during the busy cotton and cropping seasons. ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Casual Farm Worker, you will assist with day-to-day farm operations across cotton and cropping programs. Duties will vary depending on your skills and experience, and the role provides opportunities to work with modern machinery, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment. This is a practical, hands-on position ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team.

FARM WORKER DUTIES

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily farm operations across cotton and cropping activities

• Supporting planting, spraying, and harvest operations

• Operating tractors and farm machinery where trained

• Setting up, operating, and relocating irrigation pivots

• Performing minor maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of equipment

• Carrying out general farm and yard duties

• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

• Working effectively as part of a team and following supervisor instructions

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable and willing to work in a hands-on farm environment

• Safety-conscious and committed to following procedures

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Hold valid Australian working rights (Working Holiday Visa or similar)

• Hold a current driver’s licence (own vehicle preferred)

Previous farm experience is an advantage but not essential. Enthusiastic applicants who are keen to learn and work hard are encouraged to apply.
